Gumtree Delivery Service

We have for a long time been receiving enquiries on whether we collect and deliver items that are on gumtree.com. People ask "do you only move items sold on eBay" and the truth is we welcome Gumtree users to the Lots2 service.

We seem to be getting more and more Gumtree related enquiries and we think this is down to the migration from eBay to Gumtree. We know a lot of experienced eBay sellers who will only sell items they can post on eBay and larger collection only items on Gumtree.

Gumtree has its advantages; no waiting for the auction to end, its free, no messing around with online payments, it feels more local (which some people like) and you can haggle with the buyer or arrange a quick sale - something that is frowned upon on eBay.

Gumtree at the moment feels more like eBay did a long time ago, easy to use, lots of advantages for both buyers and sellers and perhaps it has that ’new community spirit’ that eBay had all that time ago.

All you savvy Lots2 users will know that you can spot a bargain on Gumtree Brighton or Gumtree Canterbury and get Lots2 to collect and deliver it for you!

We will be updating the site shortly but you can apply for a quote for delivery of a Gumtree item just as easily as you would for an eBay item - simply include the Gumtree Posting Ref so we can view the item and send us your postcode.

If the deal is done and the seller has removed the listing from Gumtree then please send us as much detailed info about the item as possible to ensure you receive the best value delivery quote.
