Lots2 versus the eBay Man with a Van
Is it any wonder that the second most visited page on our site is our pricing page? Not to us, we understand that price is important when weighing up whether to bid on an item or which service provider to choose.
Quite often we receive a quote enquiry but the potential client has a quote from an eBay Man with a Van that we simply can not match. We always try to price match where possible and ask for proof of rival quotations with service specifics etc. The problem is the eBay Man with a Van does not give any specifics, rather they just hope for the best.
We are the only courier of collection only items to clearly provide a price guide on eBay and on our website. Whether you think our prices are a bit steep or totally reasonable we have broken down the cost of moving items depending on a clients’ requirements. Be it a Porter here, 2nd floor delivery there, this is broken down so one client is not subsidising another.
While we constantly monitor the prices of our competitors we also constantly keep a check on the quality of service we provide. We are not only collecting a purchase but we are carrying our client’s reputation and eBay feedback! We won’t let a job go if a more convenient higher paid job comes in and we won’t call you to tell you the van broke down!
At the end of the day it is like anything, you pay for what you get. Any man who owns a van can start collecting eBay items the next day but how can you trust such operators?
